NAP – My best tip of the day
Lingfield 2.00 Fame And Concrete (best price 15/8)
Lightly raced after just a handful of starts and done little wrong so far over hurdles finishing runner-up the last twice, bumping into a nice horse last time; can improve again now handicapping and looks the one to beat.
Jonjo O’Neill has brought FAME AND CONCRETE along gradually and I think he can be rewarded for his patience now. This horse goes handicapping off a mark of just 106 and I’m confident he can prove better than that in time. He ran well when second to Passing Well at Newcastle when last seen and looks ready to strike now. This step up in trip should suit and he has plenty going for him. Hurricane Vichi was only beaten a head at Lingfield and if running to that sort of level again is the most likely danger. Getupearly was 4 and a half lengths behind the selection at Worcester and probably has work to do even though he has more experience now.

Newcastle 5.00 Buxted Too (best price 15/8)
Likeable sort who knuckled down well under pressure to complete a hat-trick of wins at Lingfield 9 days ago, just getting the better of the argument; up another 3lb but this track suits better so leading claims again.
The way BUXTED TOO won over C&D on penultimate start was impressive and he has gone in again at Lingfield since so is clearly at the top of his game right now. He holds Jubilee Girl on that C&D form and should confirm those placings again here. He is only up another 3lb and has a great attitude so I think he’ll prove just the stronger in the closing stages once more. Nathaniel filly Jubilee Girl has only had 6 starts and won at Southwell before going down a length to the selection last time and is the obvious danger given she is still open to further improvement. Green Planet is quite hard to assess but he could also be a danger on stable debut.
