Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all NINE meetings again and picked out my best bets.
I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING TAPIT TRICE ON SATURDAY! Graded racing in America with the Florida Oaks, South Tampa Bay Derby, San Carlos Stakes, Beholder Mile and much more. My Daily Double pays 4/1!
Smart mare who looked back to her best hacking up in a Grade 3 over 6f here when last seen back in December; hard to oppose if reproducing that sort of form and looks comfortably the most likely winner in this field; worth chancing.
The way FRANK'S ROCKETTE left her rivals standing here last time was mightily impressive and if she brings that sort of form to the table once more then she should have too much for them. She has won 2 of her last 3 and it is no surprise to see her a warm order for this. She went forward last time and seemed to enjoy herself so that may well be the plan again but she is versatile if another rival goes too hard it shouldn't bother her too much as she can tuck in. Colorful Mischief remains lightly raced and ran well when second in a Grade 2 over 7f here last time. If she improves again she looks the biggest danger to the selection. Of the rest Drifaros has won 4 in a row since finishing third on debut but this is a big step up on anything she has faced so far.
Progressive colt who caught the eye finishing third on debut and then improved showing a good attitude to make the breakthrough at Aqueduct; followed up impressively at Gulfstream last month and hard to get away from with more to come.
The improving TAPIT TRICE looks set to complete the hat-trick at Tampa on Saturday night. He bolted up by 8 lengths last time and deserves a crack at a race like this now. He is definitely a graded performer in the making and I'm confident he can come out on top once more. Shesterkin was 8 lengths behind the selection last time but he has only had 2 starts having won on debut. He has more to come but work to do to close that gap let alone reverse the form. Groveland is likeable and should have a bright future but he is held by Prairie Hawk so needs to improve to threaten the selection you'd imagine. Classic Legacy was behind Groveland and Classic Car Wash last time so also needs more.
