Sunday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Promising filly who deserved to make the breakthrough over this trip on penultimate start digging in gamely late; went down less than a length over track and trip last time having tried to make all; should prove hard to beat.

This isn't the best race you'll watch on Sunday night but even so SILENT BEAUTY looks a standout to me. She won on penultimate start showing a good attitude and then only missed narrowly last time going down on her sword. This is no tougher and she is open to further improvement. Spoiled Rotten prevailed by a head last time and if coping with the step back up to 6f she will be the danger. I think it is between the two mentioned. Of the rest Big Bell is worth a mention too as she won on penultimate start before going down a length at this level last time. Spanish Channel was well down the field behind the selection last time so has ground to make up on that run.

Likeable type who impressed bolting up by 11 lengths over 6f here as a 4yo; knocked on the door the last twice missing just a neck having closed well from off the pace and then bumped into one last time; obvious chance.

This looks a great opportunity for FRIGHTLAND to get himself back in the winners enclosure. His last two runs have been decent even in defeat and with further improvement to come after just 8 starts he should have too much for these rivals. Dolice Vita should put good pace to the race and that will help the selection as he will look to pounce late so wouldn't want it tactical early. Rustys Gfivefifty won 3 starts back but was behind the selection last time when only fourth and needs to better that to have a chance. Mailman's A Flyer also won 3 starts back but has been beaten twice since and was hammered last time so has a bit to prove off the back of that. Royal Number was also miles behind the selection last time so looks up against it even if stripping fitter from that.
