Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Improving colt who caught the eye going down just a length on debut and then impressed getting within a neck up to this level last time; will progress again and expected to win this before going on to better things.

This is quite a good race but I get the impression NATE THE GREAT could be pretty useful and if he improves again he will get his head in front. He only went down a neck last time and that was a big run just denied in the final few strides. He is getting better with experience and it is no surprise to see him a warm order for this. Bel Ami impressed nearly getting up last time but that came on turf and he needs to prove he can be as effective on this surface. Stanley House also looks promising but has work to do to reverse recent form with the selection.

Promising colt who left his debut run well behind to get within a nose of victory over track and trip last month; further improvement to come now and very good chance to go one better likely under aggressive tactics.

If ASMODEUS goes forward and gets the lead then they will all be playing catch-up. He is improving with experience and went very close last time despite things going against him there. He looks to have the most potential in the field and should be up to justifying favouritism. Moore's Law came home fairly well to finish third on debut but he was beaten 12 and a half lengths so will need to better that you'd think to beat the favourite. The only other danger I see is Ride Up but he was behind the selection on penultimate start and looks held on that.
