Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all ELEVEN meetings and picked out my best bets.
TRAVERS STAKES NIGHT STATESIDE! What a night ahead in America with a cracking card from Saratoga plus racing from Delaware, Monmouth, Gulfstream, Woodbine, Del Mar and much more. My Daily Double pays 11/2!
Progressive colt who has won 3 from 4 this season after going 4 from 5 as a 2yo; showed a great attitude to prevail by a nose last time; still improving and should be hitting the line hard.
The Travers looks a cracker at Saratoga on Saturday night and I'm convinced FORTE is very much the one to beat. He has won 7 from 9 overall and is 3 from 4 this season now after prevailing by a nose last time. He has a great attitude and with further improvement to come should be the one finishing with all the momentum. Arcangelo improved to get the better of the selection at Belmont but I think this track will suit the favourite better and he can reverse that. Mage is tough and likeable and won't be too far away either in a good renewal.
Exciting filly who clocked a career best geared down to win a Grade 2 at this track over 6f last month, still 7 plus lengths clear at the line; getting better all the time and hard to oppose.
I love what I've seen from ECHO ZULU and that win here last time head in chest was mightily impressive. She is back up to the top level here and I think she can reverse that Keeneland form with Goodnight Olive. The pair should battle this out as the latter is a tough mare who has now won 8 of her last 9 but the selection is definitely improving fast. Matareya beat Wicked Halo and Goodnight Olive at Churchill Downs so shouldn't be underestimated and is another one I expect to get competitive in another fascinating race.
