The hat-trick seeking KATHAB is expected to prove hard to beat at Ripon on Monday. He shaped with encouragement on his first 3 starts before improving to win as expected over C&D last month. He improved again to make a winning handicap debut at Haydock last time and a 6lb rise shouldn't be enough to stop him.

Diamondonthehill chased the selection home last time and won't be too far away but perhaps Isla Kai is a bigger threat back at a track he goes particularly well at. Another Batt is also in good nick at present and is respected too.

The way OH SO GRAND won at Wolverhampton on penultimate start was very impressive and while it was disappointing at the time to fail to land the hat-trick at Lingfield I actually thought that was a pretty good run. The winner has gone in again since so the form has been franked. The drop back in trip will help and she has plenty going for her.

Ribal hasn't really lived up to expectations but he was only beaten a length into third at Bath last time and the runner-up has won since to boost the form so he is probably the danger. Udaberri could also bounce back so is also noted.
