I loved the way SAHLABIYA held on gamely to open her account at Ellis Park on reappearance back in June. She kept finding for pressure and held on well with the front pair clear. That form has worked out well since with the runner-up Lemon Bomb and the third Callie's Grit both winning since. Even Paint Me Perfect who was only ninth on that occasion has won a race since so it stacks up. She has been beaten twice since and was way below par last time but that was a tough ask and back down to 7f should really suit so she is taken to bounce back.

The danger is probably Howboutdemapples who justified favouritism to win at Ellis Park back in July and freshened up should run well again. Queen Olly was right back to form when runner-up last month and if managing to build on that is another one to note.

There was lots to like about the way GOOD LORD LORRIE won on debut at Saratoga and with natural improvement he should be hard to beat here. The form is already working out too as the runner-up Smokey Smokey has finished a good third in a decent contest since and even the fourth went close next time out. He is up a furlong in trip and looks to have a fairly bright future so I think he will go 2-2.

Hedwig also made a winning start and looks the most obvious threat. The third of that contest Double Your Money won next time out so that form stacks up too and I think the pair will fight this one out. Of the rest Bledsoe justified cramped odds on debut and if stepping forward is another one that should get involved in a race that will likely work out well in time.
