No surprise to see ALHAMBRA PALACE come into his own as his stamina is drawn out and he ran much better than that finishing position suggested at York last time. That was a good renewal of the Melrose and he ended up racing all by himself on the far side. He is still improving and should get back on track here.

The danger is probably Roost as the betting is suggesting as he impressed winning at Ffos Las last month but on that Sandown form has a fair bit of ground to make up.

Havana Grey colt ZIGGY'S CONDOR should be hard to beat here. He impressed winning so easily on debut and then beat all bar Dragon Leader at York. I was expecting a bit better last time but he was only beaten 3 lengths and if back to his best should have too much for these as it looks easier as well.

Circus Lion ran well on debut and then improved to finish second behind another promising type at Redcar. If improving again he will put up the most resistance to the favourite. Gladly Ever After is also respected.
