This will be a good test for BLUEKING D'OROUX with Spirit D'aunou lining up but I was so impressed with that Ascot win last season and he did little wrong in defeat at Aintree next time. He bumped into Punctuation on the day and the front pair came clear with the field well strung out. He is open to a lot more improvement and this looks a decent starting point. Spirit D'aunou has won 4 from 5 but up another 9lb this is undoubtedly his toughest task to date so he will need more.

The way ANCIENT WISDOM moved through the race before storming clear was so impressive at Newmarket last time. He handled the softer ground no problem and looks a colt destined for the top. His defeat to Rosallion at Ascot has been franked too so I'm confident he is the one to beat. Diego Velazquez is unbeaten and has looked smart but he lacks experience and this will almost certainly turn into a battle. God's Window impressed winning on debut and is also noted.
