I'm surprised KATEIRA isn't clear favourite for this. She was hugely progressive over hurdles last season and ran a cracker to finish second to Irish Point at the top level at Aintree on final start. She had You Wear It Well held back in fifth that day and is open to further improvement now a 6yo. She can come from off the pace as she showed the last day and clearly has plenty going for her. Luccia was a good third to Inthepocket when last seen and is the likely danger.

I know CHASING FIRE only ended up beating one rival on chase debut but he impressed with how he did it and he is only going to improve for that. He was progressive over hurdles and clearly has a bright future in this sphere. The yard are in good form and it is hard to see how he doesn't go and follow up here. Marble Sands also did well over timber and should make a chaser but lacks experience and that could prove the difference. Traprain Law also has potential and is respected too.
