I'd go as far to say that CORBETTS CROSS is one of my most favourite horses in training currently. He was hugely progressive over hurdles and was running a big race in the Albert Bartlett before coming down. He has tons of scope so should be an exciting chaser and I'm hopeful he can make a perfect start here. Grangeclare West also did well over hurdles and should at least give him a test.

Obviously we have never seen SOUTHOFTHEBORDER jump a hurdle so we are going on potential but such was the promise of that bumper win at Ffos Las I think he'll be hard to beat. He won his sole point and is clearly a horse with considerable potential. The danger definitely looks to be Spirits Bay who impressed winning bumpers at Chepstow and Hereford and also has a bright future.
