After going down just a length on hurdles debut at Fontwell it was good to see BALTRAY improve to bolt up at Hereford last month. He merely had to be shaken up to go clear so it was quite impressive for the grade. He has more to come now handicapping up slightly in trip and should be hard to beat. Stanley Pincombe is a lot more exposed but was back to winning ways over C&D last month so looks the danger despite a 5lb rise.

It was good to see GOD OF THUNDER finally get his head in front over this C&D 12 days ago. He had been threatening for a while and freshened up he looks an improved individual to score comfortably here last month. He is up 7lb but deservedly so given the potential he brings to the table and I fully expect him to follow up against these. Waterloo Sunset bounced back to win at Kempton when last seen and looks the obvious danger.
