Muhaarar colt DASHING DARCEY looks to be closing in on a win. He was well backed on debut but was alarmingly pulled up after just a furlong. He quickly put that right getting within a neck of victory at Newcastle last month and if he improves again with the step up to a mile sure to suit then he is clearly the one to beat. Belardo colt Belcamo went down less than a length on debut and if progressing could be the main danger.

The likeable HURLERONTHEDITCH was about to make a sparkling chase debut before stumbling after the last and coming down at Warwick last month. That was so unfortunate as he had jumped so well and just looked to land a bit to steep. He is open to improvement and as long as his confidence hasn't been knocked I expect him to get back on track here. Sageburg County impressed winning at Southwell and even though this is tougher he is the danger.
