The way LIHYAN bolted up over C&D last month was impressive and if in that form again then he should go and follow up. He was given a patient ride out the back but made smooth headway before taking it up going best and easing clear. He stayed on strongly and looks to be improving fast now. He is 8lb higher but has more to come yet and should follow up. Heartbreak Kid was given a positive ride before running out at the fourth at Sedgefield. If he puts that behind him he could be the danger.

It was hard not to be impressed with the way LOVE TREE left Dameofthecotswolds standing over C&D last month. She travelled strongly into the race and absolutely pinged the last. She obviously gives weight to that rival here but it is hard to see how she doesn't go and follow up. That was her first start over hurdles so there should be a fair bit more to come now. Dameofthecotswolds is a solid yardstick and should be bang there again possibly along with Hill Spirit who goes hurdling for the first time.
