After an eye-catching run in defeat at Lingfield it was good to see GOLDSMITH regain the winning groove at Wolverhampton last month. With plenty of pace on here the drop back to a mile should suit and off just a 3lb higher mark he should be finishing best. The form of that last win has already been franked with the fourth Charlie's Choice winning next time out so he should still be well handicapped. Leap Day was back to winning ways here last month and looks the biggest danger.

With 3 wins from his last 4 ULTRAMARINE has been progressing well of late and given he escapes a penalty for that win at Kempton over the weekend he has strong claims of completing the hat-trick. He goes up in grade slightly but this still looks winnable and with Hayley Turner booked for the ride there are plenty of positives. Riot was denied the hat-trick over C&D last month but only went down a length and looks the danger. Love De Vega is also in form and is respected too.
