Ascot 1.30
It has paid to look away from the top of the market in this race in the last couple of years so I’m happy to chance WAY OF LIFE running well at a double-figure price. He was mega consistent towards the backend of last season and returned in good form denied just a neck at Windsor last month. He is only 2lb higher and with Joe Leavy claiming 5lb is actually better off.
Plenty of dangers likely headed by the hat-trick seeking Kotari for Gary Moore. He won head in chest at Salisbury and if handling the quick turnaround should go well under a penalty. At a massive price Graham might be worth a second look too.
Lingfield 1.50
It has been rather hit or miss for AIMERIC so far but he was very much back on song winning impressively at Beverley when last seen. That was a good effort as he overcame a pace bias to score so a 6lb rise shouldn’t be enough to anchor him here. He won fresh last season and this trip is ideal so plenty of ticks in boxes. The yard are starting to fire in some winners too so no negative on that front.
True Legend ran well at Ascot on penultimate start before running a bit flat at Newmarket. This is easier so he could be the danger off what should be a workable mark. If Not Now has a bit to prove but is also quite interesting at the same time.

Ascot 2.05
With that reappearance run under her belt don’t be surprised to see STRONG IMPACT take a bit of beating here. She needed her first run back last year before winning readily at Epsom and she should have more to come handicapping. The straight mile should suit as she stays further and with Silvestre De Sousa booked she must have a great chance.
Mother Mary is likely to go off favourite despite never landing a blow at Kempton on return. This test will suit her and she will strip fitter. Flying Finn is on a real roll and despite being out the weights is also noted.

Lingfield 2.25
The way DANIELLE left her rivals standing at Wetherby last month was impressive and with the promise of further improvement to come on just her fourth start she is a confident bet to follow up. She should have more to offer up in trip again and is hard to get away from. She is entered in the Oaks at the end of the month and also holds a Ribblesdale entry so will be wanting to win this to fulfil those.
Treasure won in good style on debut on sole start as a 2yo and could be the danger despite lacking a run. Rubies Are Red is also entitled to improve and is another one to consider.
Ascot 2.40
I thought that was a pleasing return from POPMASTER to finish a close-up sixth in the Abernant at Newmarket last month. His course form is seriously eye-catching and if coming forward from that run should be a big player in this despite carrying top-weight. Brandon Wilkie claims 5lb off his back and that will be a big help.
Hickory was beaten less than a length at Kempton last month and could be the danger if improving on that. Mostabshir is still unexposed and only went down half a length to Mount Athos on reappearance so is another one likely to get involved.

Lingfield 3.00
It feels like Aidan O’Brien is turning a corner with his horses now and ILLINOIS is expected to be a warm order for this. He didn’t pull down any trees when third on return in the Ballysax but he left the impression he would improve plenty for the run and going up in trip again clearly has plenty going for him.
Defiance was beaten less than a length at Epsom last month and will be the danger if improving on that. The Euphrates also has a squeak but probably needs to find more.
Haydock 3.15
This looks a great chance for LARK IN THE MORNIN to cap off the season with another win. He was a big drifter before the Boodles due to the ground but he handled it well and bolted up by a couple of lengths under J J Slevin. He is 8lb higher here but you’d be foolish to rule out further improvement and it is no surprise to see him a clear favourite for this valuable pot.
Rare Middleton was denied a neck at Cheltenham last month and probably would have won bar a mistake at the last. He could have more to offer and is the likely danger. Tintintin ties in with the latter and up 6lb is another one who could get involved.
Lingfield 3.35
Hard to oppose the classy REMARQUE on her return. She has undergone wind surgery since disappointing over in France and her form prior to that blip speaks volumes chasing home the likes of Tahiyra and then Nashwa. If she is anywhere near her best then quite simply she’ll win.
Great Generation ran well enough on return in France beaten 3 lengths and if improving is the obvious danger. Of the rest Stenton Glider could run well but she’ll need to settle much better.
