After the first break at the Euros we are back with the last 16 and two games on Saturday night. We start with Switzerland v Italy with the later game being Germany v Denmark. Germany are strong favorites to beat Denmark whereas Italy are marginal favorites to go through against Switzerland.

Reasoning
Switzerland have surprised many at this tournament including me. They create so many chances with 14 shots on target already and have scored at least once in all games. Italy on the other hand have scored just 3 goals and had a 3rd less shots on target and I feel they may not have the firepower to cope with the Swiss.
I have enjoyed watching Germany so far with 8 goals scored and at least 2 goals in all their games. Both teams scored in 2 Danish games and I feel they will have to push when Germany score.

The Euros Saturday Tips: Analysing and Picking Winners for June 29, 2024
Saturday’s fixtures in the UEFA Euro 2024 feature the start of the knockout stages with key matchups including Switzerland vs. Italy and Germany vs. Denmark. Here’s a detailed analysis of these games, along with tips on how to pick winners for various bet types.
Match Analysis
We begin with a thorough examination of each match, focusing on key factors:
1. Form and Performance: Evaluating recent form is essential. Italy has shown strong performances throughout the tournament, demonstrating both offensive and defensive strengths. Germany, as hosts, have also been impressive, capitalising on their home advantage. Denmark and Switzerland have been competitive but face tough opponents in these matches.
2. Head-to-Head Records: Historical encounters provide valuable context. Italy has a solid record against Switzerland, which can influence betting odds. Germany has traditionally performed well against Denmark in major tournaments, which adds to their advantage.
3. Injuries and Suspensions: The availability of key players significantly impacts outcomes. Italy and Germany are likely to field their strongest squads, giving them an edge. Any key absences in the Swiss or Danish squads could be detrimental.
4. Tactics and Strategy: Understanding team strategies is crucial. Italy’s tactical discipline under Roberto Mancini emphasizes a balanced approach with solid defense and quick counterattacks. Germany’s attacking style and high pressing will challenge Denmark’s more defensive setup.
Bet Types and Strategies
We provide tips for various bet types to cater to different betting preferences:
1. Match Result (1X2): Predicting the outcome is straightforward. Italy is favored to win against Switzerland, given their superior form and tactical strength. Germany is similarly favored against Denmark, leveraging their home advantage and current form.
2. Both Teams to Score (BTTS): This bet requires both teams to score at least one goal. For Germany vs. Denmark, BTTS is a strong consideration given both teams’ offensive capabilities. Italy vs. Switzerland might be less likely for BTTS, as Italy’s defense is strong.
3. Over/Under Goals: This involves betting on whether the total number of goals scored will be over or under a specified number. For Germany vs. Denmark, over 2.5 goals is reasonable given Germany’s offensive prowess. Italy vs. Switzerland might be safer for under 2.5 goals, reflecting Italy’s control and defensive approach.
4. Correct Score: Predicting the exact score is challenging but offers high rewards. A 2-0 win for Italy against Switzerland is a realistic prediction. Germany vs. Denmark could end in a 3-1 win for Germany.
5. Player-Specific Bets: Bets like “First Goal Scorer” or “Anytime Goal Scorer” rely on individual player analysis. For Italy, Ciro Immobile is a strong candidate for the first goal scorer. In the Germany vs. Denmark match, Serge Gnabry is a likely pick for anytime goal scorer.
