Chester 1.30
There has been a fair bit of money for TWO TEMPTING and it is easy to see why. He ran well in defeat at Newbury last month and back slightly in trip here off a 1lb lower mark he should go close. He won over C&D last year and has plenty going for him even more so from stall 1.
Gorak was only denied half a length at Haydock on return last month and if building on that could be the biggest danger in here.
Ascot 1.50
After just a handful of starts the best is yet to come with SHOUT and I thought he caught the eye on return at Newbury beaten just 2 lengths at the line. He will tighten up for the run and with this track in his favour he looks a great each way price. First-time cheekpieces also look a positive addition.
Frankel colt Brave Mission is definitely the danger. He impressed beating Vecu at Kempton on final outing and can do better again this season.
Chester 2.05
I am certainly not letting the drift put me off AMMES here. I know trainer James Owen holds him in quite high regard and if he builds on that encouraging second at Kempton last month then he will be a danger to all in this despite what the market is saying.
The Pouncing Lion has been all the rage and did show promise in testing ground at Goodwood on debut. Ryan Moore booked and should run well.
Chester 2.35
The market isn’t in love with THE FOXES but if he gets to the front under Oisin Murphy from a good draw then I think he’ll be hard to catch. His form is strong and he was only denied a length last time. He was impressive making all at Newcastle and he could still be capable of better as well.
Space Legend lacks a run but he looks the type to do better again as a 4yo and should make a race of it at least.
Chester 3.05
Back on the Flat this could be a nice pot for EAST INDIA DOCK. He obviously ran a massive race in the Triumph and his Flat form last year was progressive. This test looks ideal and if he is fit and ready to fire he should take a bit of beating under Harry Davies who has been impressing recently.
Leinster has won 2 of his last 3 and this Irish raider looks a big danger. He needs to prove himself at the trip but if he stays he will be bang there.
Chester 3.40
This is wide open but an each way chance is taken on GREY CUBAN for Hugo Palmer. The yard often target this meeting and have already had success this week. This son of Havana Grey needed the run behind Teumessias Fox at Kempton and should come forward plenty from that.
Rathgar has got better with each start this season and with the ground and trip both looking good for him he should be the danger.
