Curragh 1.15
No surprise to see MISSISSIPPI RIVER all the rage for the opener! This well bred colt impressed justifying strong support at Leopardstown last time and with the promise of more to come again he should get favourite backers off to a perfect start under Ryan Moore.
Shiota is the closest in the betting and does look the danger. She is a good looker who is eyeing up a hat-trick so is clearly thriving right now.
Curragh 1.50
I thought that was a good effort from AKECHETA at Epsom. She just bumped into one on the day but came through the field in good style and it didn’t look a bad race. A similar effort may well see her back in the winners enclosure.
State Actor was behind the selection here last time but shaped like he needed the run. If he strips fitter he could emerge as the danger.
Curragh 2.25
This can go the way of MY MATE ALFIE for Ger Lyons. This likeable 4yo won 4 times last season and returned with a promising run beaten just half a length at Naas back in April. Again he wasn’t beaten far over this C&D last month and if things pan out better he will be hard to beat under Colin Keane.
Big Gossey has held his form well since beating Camille Pissarro over 7f at this track and could be one of the main dangers.
Curragh 2.55
There was plenty to like about the way SKUKUZA got his head in front over C&D last month. He is unexposed and with Ryan Moore getting the leg up again he looks good value to turn over the favourite Currawood who seems too short in the betting.
Of the rest Alakazi shouldn’t be completely ignored either. He won at Leopardstown and then ran well in defeat here and likely has more to come.
Curragh 3.30
This is probably the toughest race of the day to try and solve. I’ve taken a chance on FAIR TAXES at a double-figure price. He showed a good attitude to win by a neck at Navan and granted usual luck in-running again here he might be able to follow up. He has only had a few goes over 5f so more in the locker yet.
Keke is likely to go off favourite having caught the eye over 6f here last month. He will strip fitter and this trip suits him better as well.
Curragh 4.10
Aidan O’Brien has won the last two renewals of the Irish Derby with Auguste Rodin and Los Angeles. He has The Derby winner again in LAMBOURN and it is hard to see how he is beaten here. He ran them ragged at Epsom and under similar tactics I fully expect him to follow up.
Pride Of Arras was way too keen at Epsom and if settling better might be the one to give him most to think about. Tennessee Stud best of the rest.
Curragh 4.50
This looks a great chance for the likeable CLOUD SEEKER to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He needed the run at Tipperary on return but put that right winning at Leopardstown. He missed just a short head here last month and back up to a mile and a half there is lots to like.
Beset was denied a hat-trick at Goodwood but still ran well bumping into Santorini Star. I know that form has been let down but she still looks the danger.
Curragh 5.20
With Orchidaceae now out this could be a good chance for BELLAPHINA to strike. She has caught the eye the last twice and wouldn’t need a great deal more to get seriously competitive in a race like this. She is off a 1lb lower mark and the drop back down to 7f is also in her favour.
Dance Night Andday has potential to do better so could be the danger. At a bigger price Enchanted Garden would also have a squeak.

Curragh 5.55
The step up in trip for his handicap debut did the trick for LONDON CITY at York last year. He has been beaten since but that came in Listed company and he had excuses. He has top-weight here but if able to defy the layoff could be a bit overpriced in the lucky last.
Mordor did it readily at Killarney last month and if in the same form with Colin Keane booked could be the biggest threat.
