Goodwood 1.20
I know the betting has been a bit uneasy on SING US A SONG but I’d still be confident this colt can beat these. He had excuses at Royal Ascot where he was slowly away and looked progressive before that blip. He should bounce back and is worth keeping on side.
Kurakka impressed winning at Chelmsford and then followed up at Haydock. Didn’t do much wrong in defeat at Newmarket and is the danger.
Goodwood 1.55
Given TABITI did a lot of the donkey work in the Sandringham I thought he ran a huge race to finish third beaten just a couple of lengths. Back down to 7f looks a good move here and with the promise of more to come he should get back into the winners enclosure.
Jabaara won this last year before being demoted. She ran poorly last time out but if bouncing back could threaten most.
Goodwood 2.30
I didn’t have much between these but I’m still surprised to see AMEEQ drift out to 16/1. I thought he ran well from an awkward draw to finish fourth in the Norfolk and on just his fourth start here he could progress again and get involved.
Military Code ran well denied just a head at Sandown and that form has been franked so he looks the danger.
Goodwood 3.05
Impossible to oppose FIELD OF GOLD as he bids to land his third Group 1 in a row. He was awesome at Royal Ascot and never looked like getting beat. He could improve again on just his ninth career start and I’m excited to see him run again.
Rosallion probably should have won at Royal Ascot and has a good chance of reversing form with Docklands and finishing second.
Goodwood 3.45
Another horse that seems to be on the drift is QUEBELLA but I’m still keeping the faith. She looked a bit unlucky at Southwell and left off an unchanged mark is clearly well handicapped off 87 here. Jim Crowley takes over and she should be going close with a clear run.
Wisper beat Westridge at Windsor and had excuses last time behind the selection so could still be the danger.
