Haydock 1.15

Even with the drift on ICE MAX I can see him running a big race here. I wouldn’t judge him too harshly on that run at Goodwood behind Jonquil as he was hampered and was only beaten 3 lengths at the line. He can bounce back with a big run and run a place at the very least.

Fearnot also needs to bounce back but does like this track and should run well. Zeus Olympios has been backed and is another one to note.

Haydock 1.15

Ice Max 8/1 each way

Main danger Fearnot

Kempton 1.35

Impossible to look past KALPANA here who is looking to win this en route to having a crack at the Arc. She is currently favourite for that race so really should prove too strong for these. She obviously won the race last year and it is hard to pick holes in her credentials.

Giavellotto is the only conceivable danger but he will need to improve on recent form if he is to make a race of it against the favourite.

Kempton 1.35

Kalpana 4/7

Main danger Giavellotto

Haydock 1.50

Can’t wait to see BOW ECHO again following his sparkling debut win at Newbury. He barely knew he had a race and picked up strongly to win head in chest. The form has been franked since and I know the yard think a lot of him so I’m definitely keeping him on side here and going forward.

Publish was desperately unlucky on debut and then got off the mark last time. His form has had a few knocks since though which is worrying.

Haydock 1.50

Bow Echo 9/4 NOTEBOOK

Main danger Publish

Kempton 2.05

I know SIR PAUL RAMSEY has been busy of late but horses from this yard tend to thrive on their racing and again he ran well beaten less than 3 lengths at Chester. This track will suit better back up to a mile and he should run a big race and go close.

Sky Safari is a filly at the top of her game and she impressed winning readily over track and trip latest so looks the obvious danger.

Kempton 2.05

Sir Paul Ramsey 8/1 each way LONGSHOT

Main danger Sky Safari

Haydock 2.25

I have been really impressed with CIRCUS OF ROME so far and he was much the best winning readily at Newcastle last month. He arrives on a hat-trick now and despite a hefty rise back on turf could do better again up in trip so is worth chancing at an each way price.

Pole Star is likeable and is better than he showed behind Tarriance at York so if back to his best could give the selection most to think about.

Haydock 2.25

Circus Of Rome 15/2 each way

Main danger Pole Star

Ascot 2.40

The best is yet to come with NATIVE WARRIOR and he did nothing wrong in defeat when third at Goodwood. He was beaten just a length and a half and if building on that should get involved here as he looks well treated off his current mark.

Strong Warrior has only had 4 starts and wasn’t disgraced in the Commonwealth Cup when last seen and will find this a great deal easier.

Ascot 2.40

Native Warrior 5/1 each way

Main danger Strong Warrior

Haydock 3.00

Another horse that has drifted today but still looks to have a great chance is CABALLO DE MAR for George Scott. This 4yo has been in terrific form winning 6 of his last 8 and might not be done yet. He has been freshened up and could have a big say in the outcome here.

The Reverend is a danger to all but the drying ground would have to be against him and he is short enough in the betting.

Haydock 3.00

Caballo De Mar 13/2 each way

Main danger The Reverend

Ascot 3.15

Push The Limit did look good at Glorious Goodwood and is clearly a colt on the upgrade but ROGUE MILLIONS might be better value. He won at Chepstow and then followed up impressively at Carlisle. He had excuses at Hamilton and can bounce back with a big run here.

Of the rest Tenability did well to win here last time and could still do better as well so also enters calculations.

Ascot 3.15

Rogue Millions 9/1 each way

Main danger Push The Limit

Haydock 3.35

I loved the way LAZZAT won at Royal Ascot and while he was beaten in France last month he did have excuses and is much better than he showed on that occasion. He is expected to bounce back here and I’m struggling to see how he gets beat.

Sky Majesty is progressing well and could do better again so might be the danger. Time For Sandals is another one to note.

Haydock 3.35

Lazzat 2/1

Main danger Sky Majesty
