Doncaster 1.15
After winning stylishly at Windsor GWEN JOHN didn’t do a great deal wrong denied just a neck at Carlisle last month. She got a bit unbalanced and I don’t think the track suited. This test will be much more up her street and with more to come pitched into a nursery she must have a great chance.
Half Sovereign has been on the upgrade recently but this will test her more. I can see Bearin Up running a big race despite drifting.
Doncaster 1.50
Aidan O’Brien seems to be a bit out of form at the moment so it will be interesting to see how Brussels goes in the betting. Either way CALENDAR GIRL looks better value for Owen Burrows. She won well on debut and went down narrowly at Epsom. She can do better again here.
Brussels could still run well and is feared but Jel Pepper is another one expected to be on the premises at the very least.
Doncaster 2.25
It seems like every man and his dog is on MOON TARGET but it is easy to see why. This filly looked potentially useful winning her first two starts and she just bumped into one at Goodwood latest. This test will suit much better up to a mile and she can improve again.
Aylin is a nice prospect herself and was third behind the selection last time so with more to come can chase her home again.
Doncaster 3.00
John Gosden has won this race in recent years with Free Wind and Mimikyu and there is a chance DANIELLE is better than both of those. She caught the eye going down less than a length on return at Goodwood and her form stacks up so plenty to like.
Consent is also a filly on the up and she probably should have won in France last time so can give the favourite most to think about.
Doncaster 3.35
There is strong word going about for HOPEWELL ROCK here and that is very much being reflected in the betting. He is better than he showed on handicap debut and with more to come over this trip could prove hard to beat under Billy Loughnane.
At an each way price CASTLE STUART is expected to run well too and is worth a saver. He was only beaten half a length at York last time.
