Doncaster 1.15
A tricky handicap to kick off but SYNERGISM has looked progressive and he still looks competitively weighted here. He is a typical improver from this yard and should go well at an each way price.
Shadow Dance ran well in this last year and could easily bounce back with a big run.
Doncaster 1.50
Expensive colt HANKELOW made an exciting start winning readily on debut at York when last seen. This has been the target since and with further progression I expect him to make it 2-2 against these. The market can’t get enough of him.
Frescobaldi impressed winning at York last month and with more to come and experience on side already looks the threat.
Doncaster 2.25
I am hoping they go hard here as it could set up perfectly for HAVANA HURRICANE. He has done little wrong since winning the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and the drop back to the minimum trip could see him reward followers here.
Mission Central hasn’t looked back since being gelded and arrives on a hat-trick so looks the one to challenge him most.
Doncaster 3.00
Sweet William won this last year but he hasn’t won a race since and is becoming a bit frustrating now. He is a short price here and looks opposable. HIPOP DE LOIRE should love going back up in trip and seems decent value to come out on top.
Pendragon has been subject to a gamble overnight and if keeping a lid on in the prelims could threaten most.
Salisbury 3.25
Despite the drift I make AWAKEN the one to beat here. She won as expected at Leicester but the form couldn’t have worked out any better and with more to come back up into Group company she should be capable of following up.
Flowerhead will be suited by stepping back up to 6f and is the danger. Anthelia and Bella Lyra also respected.
Doncaster 3.40
The market seems fairly keen on Perfect Your Craft but I can’t help but feel CAPE FLORA is better value. This Kingman filly arrives on a hat-trick and did it readily at York last month. She has more to come and looks sure to run a big race.
Perfect Your Craft also looks progressive and has won 2 from 3 so does look the danger. Bosphorus Rose can also feature.
