Doncaster 1.15
This could be a great chance for TREBLE TEE to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He hasn’t won since scoring on debut but went close at Goodwood and with the promise of more to come looks the one to beat under an in-form Oisin Murphy.
Hawksbill has proved frustrating but again caught the eye running on strongly at the line beaten just a length at Chester latest.
Doncaster 1.50
The way GEWAN beat Italy at York was impressive and with scope for further improvement again he may well prove up to the task and make it a perfect 3-3 against these. He hit the line hard the last day and a similar performance should suffice.
Oxagon won by 8 lengths at Sandown and is clearly going the right way too so should be able to make a race of it.
Chester 2.05
The old boy HAMISH beat Military Academy at Goodwood on return and freshened up again is expected to confirm recent form with that rival here and come out on top. He has been a great horse for connections and is hard to pick holes in.
Military Academy does still look the danger but he does have a bit to prove after failing to stay behind Scandinavia at Goodwood.
Doncaster 2.25
I’d be fairly confident there is more to come from ADDISON GREY and if he does improve again he should be bang there. He has won 3 from 5 overall and has a progressive profile showing a good attitude to prevail at Newmarket. Worth keeping on side for now.
Trefor impressed winning at York and has also won 3 of his last 5 so comes here in rude health and is feared most.
Chester 2.40
There are several in with a chance here but it could be worth chancing TRIBAL STAR at a nice price. He was back on the up winning at Dundalk last month and I know connections are confident he can come into his own over this trip so worth another chance.
Artisan Dancer continues to know on the door and was denied just a nose at York last time so could be the danger here.
Doncaster 3.00
Shadow Of Light could be the class act but that is reflected in his price and TEN BOB TONY seems better value. He edged out Kinross to win at Haydock when last seen and freshened up could be a danger to all in this now.
Marvelman has been the one that has been backed in the market and his form is decent so don’t write him off either.
Doncaster 3.40
I’m expecting the O’Brien pair to battle out the St Leger! I really like SCANDINAVIA and hopefully he can come out on top. He will be finishing strongly and I don’t think conditions are a concern at all so don’t let the drift put you off.
Lambourn should be spot on for this now after York and won’t go down without a fight. Carmers needs a career best to win this.
