Ascot 1.15
A tricky opener but FLIGHT could be overpriced. I know she wasn’t at her best at Sandown but she is a lot better than she managed to show that day and down in grade now tackling Listed company she could bounce back with a big run under Jamie Spencer.
Bright Thunder was denied just a short head at Doncaster and handles soft ground well so looks the obvious danger.
Newmarket 1.30
It was hard not to be impressed with the way MORROPHORE put away the opposition at Ascot when last seen. This daughter of Kingman relished the step up in trip and should have plenty more to come now. Buick is up and she is definitely the one to beat here.
Wonder Star was poor at York but it is still early days and she looked promising before that blip so she is the likely threat.
Ascot 1.50
After running well over 6f at this track CANDY improved again to win the Ayr Silver Cup last time. He was gutsy to make all the running and seemed to relish the softer ground. He gets his conditions again and with the drop back to 5f no problem he could take a lot of pegging back.
Beautiful Diamond will also enjoy conditions and looked good winning at Ayr last month so is the danger. Shagraan is also thriving.
Newmarket 2.05
Progressive filly HALF SOVEREIGN has gone from strength to strength and she was nicely on top again making it 4 wins on the bounce at Doncaster last month. She still has more to offer back up to 7f and is expected to extend the winning run here.
Bated Breath colt Colori Forever impressed winning with something to spare on debut and the form has been boosted so is the danger.
Ascot 2.25
Al Qareem won this last year and has to be feared but TENABILITY might be the value play. He loves this track and made it 4 wins on the bounce (his last 3 over C&D) beating Push The Limit here last month. The ground is ideal again so he is worth chancing.
Hamish isn’t getting any younger but keeps winning and really was quite impressive at Chester so is probably the biggest danger.
Newmarket 2.40
This looks a decent renewal of the Sun Chariot Stakes and FALLEN ANGEL is a deserved favourite. She beat January to win in France and then stayed on strongly to peg back Exactly in Ireland last time. Her form is solid and she looks the one to beat again.
Cinderella’s Dream is highly talented and would be dangerous if the ground stayed on the quicker side. Lady Of Spain is also noted.
Ascot 3.00
The money is coming for PRINCE OF INDIA and it is easy to see why. This Wootton Bassett colt has won 4 times from 7 starts this season and was only beaten a length at York last month. He is in great form and should run another big race.
Quinault can never be ruled out and wasn’t disgraced at Doncaster. Back down to 6f here he could prove dangerous.
Redcar 3.20
The yard form is a bit of a concern but even so SONG OF THE CLYDE could take a lot of stopping here. He has won 2 of his last 4 and on the two occasions he was beaten he has finished runner-up. That was another big effort at Doncaster and he must go close again here.
Hollywood Treasure has won 2 from 3 and if bouncing back from that Longchamp run could be dangerous. Isle Of Fernandez also respected.
Ascot 3.35
With 2 wins from his last 3 starts NATIVE WARRIOR is looking progressive now. He was nicely on top over C&D last month and with Jamie Spencer on again he could follow up against these despite the rise in the weights.
Hickory also thrives at this track and impressed beating Fondo Blanco here last time so could emerge as the danger.
