I can see THE FAMOUS FIVE improving again this season. He achieved a decent level last year and goes well fresh so with the yard back amongst the winners I think we’ll see him bang there at the finish.

Bad looked good at Kempton but he always goes well there and might find this tough. General Medrano is also feared.

Both Grand Geste and Saladins Son are respected but little juice in their prices now. I quite like FAMOUS BRIDGE at a double-figure price. He failed to give his running at this track last month but is better than that and if bouncing back could be dangerous.

Saladins Son is the danger but O’toole could also run well at a price as he will strip fitter now.

JP McManus looks to hold the key here and I’m siding with IMPOSE TOI at a slightly bigger price. He has come into his own since upped to this trip and was value for more than the winning margin last time. He has more to come and is worth keeping on side.

Honesty Policy lacks a run but can do better too and his form is already strong so he is the obvious danger.

Can’t believe JACKIE HOBBS isn’t favourite for this. She won despite looking inexperienced on hurdles debut. I expect her to jump slicker here and she has lots more to come so is a good bet to make it 2-2 over hurdles.

Supreme Malinas beat A Path To Ronda at Exeter and should confirm that form and threaten most here.

Sticking with VICTTORINO here who has won this race twice in the past and despite a poor run at Newbury is handicapped to run a big race again. His record at this track is 4 wins from 5 starts so he loves it here and looks the one to side with.

Pic Roc is enthusiastic and if he gets into a rhythm will be dangerous but 11/4 is madness against a field as competitive as this.

Gary Moore reportedly has MONDO MAN in rude health at home and now handicapping he could be a big player here. He was beaten less than a length at Lingfield last month and with improvement to come should take a lot of beating for an in-form yard.

Fiercely Proud is quite interesting at a price with improvement expected. I think he can reverse form with Alexei given the weight swing.
