I thought KAZANSKY showed a good attitude to prevail over another improver in County Final at Limerick on Boxing Day. If he takes another step forward here he could prove hard to beat and has largely been overlooked in the betting.
Love Me Tender should appreciate this trip and if handling the ground looks a big danger. Doctor Steinberg also feared.

I remember thinking at the time I felt NARCISO HAS should have beaten Mange Tout at Fairyhouse. He quickly put things right bolting up at this track last month. He gets his chance at revenge now and should prove hard to beat.
Mange Tout remains unbeaten and looks the danger again especially with the ground in his favour. Selma De Vary best of the rest.
Leopardstown 2.25
Hopefully Kazansky runs a big race in the opener as if he does then COUNTY FINAL could be a serious gamble. He missed just a head to that rival at Limerick and is completely unexposed over 3 miles. He has more to come back in handicap company.
Dippedinmoonlight ran well beaten just over a length at Fairyhouse and with more to come could threaten most. Wendrock is also noted.
Leopardstown 2.55
I’m really looking forward to seeing ROMEO COOLIO out again. I know this probably isn’t his optimum trip but he is unbeaten over fences and still looks capable of a bigger performance. I think Kargese will set it up for him and he is the most likely winner.
Kargese looked good winning here last month but she didn’t beat much and this is a much tougher ask. Downmexicoway not good enough.
Leopardstown 3.30
This looks a great chance for GALOPIN DES CHAMPS to win this for the fourth year in a row! It was only a lack of fitness that got him beat here last month and with that under his belt he should reverse form with both Affordale Fury and I Am Maximus.
Gaelic Warrior could prove dangerous if finally showing his true form at this venue. Fact To File is also interesting if bouncing back.

I thought JACOB’S LADDER was impressive beating Karoline Banbou on penultimate start. He improved again when finding just the one rival too strong at Punchestown. He looks well treated now handicapping and is turning into the gamble of the day.
More Coko was a good second to Western Diego at Fairyhouse and might be able to reverse that form here. Ballysax Hank also respected.
Leopardstown 4.40
I thought IT’S ONLY A GAME did well to win at Punchestown last time. Freshened up he has further improvement to come and could be quite a nice horse going forward. I know the yard fancy him quite strongly so that’s worth noting.
Charismatic Kid impressed on debut and now with Gordon Elliott could do better and is feared. Rojuco Mac not out of it either.
