I thought that was a big run in defeat from SANS BRUIT and if he jumps well again here he could be in with a great shout. He will go forward and it will be catch me if you can under Harry Cobden.

Palacio arrives in winning form and shouldn’t be underestimated and French recruit Le Nez Creux adds further spice to the mix.

I know things didn’t go to plan for TOULEEN on final start but she looked exciting before that blip and the fact we didn’t see her after suggests something wasn’t quite right. She still has tons of potential this season and could be a cut above these on return.

Catching The Moon was progressive when last seen and if improving again could emerge as the biggest danger to the fav here.

I don’t think the drop in trip helped KDEUX SAINT FRAY behind Meetmebythesea at Cheltenham and he is better judged on that close third to Lookaway at Kempton. He has more to come over fences and looks a big player here.

Diamond Dealer impressed winning at Kelso last month and arrives full of confidence so looks the most obvious threat to the selection.

The way ZAVATERI won his first four starts as a 2yo really was quite exciting and while he was beat in the Dewhurst he is still armed with tons of potential on return. He could do even better this season and is taken to make a winning return against these.

Albert Einstein should improve with a run under his belt and looks the one to put up the most resistance in here.

This is a good renewal but such was the promise of that win from CAPTAIN HUGO in the Morebattle Hurdle I think he can go close to following up. He is hugely progressive looking at his profile and he remains well handicapped.

Tutti Quanti will obviously find this easier than the Champion Hurdle and is feared and Tellherthename is another one to note.

With no Constitution Hill and now Pride Of Arras a non runner this looks a great chance for the progressive CONVERGENT to win again. He is on a hat-trick and showed a good attitude to beat Dubai Honour in France who is a very decent yardstick.

Al Aasy isn’t getting any younger but looks the likely danger. Lion’s Pride could also run a big race as at least he will be fit.

The money keeps on coming for TWISTTHENIGHTAWAY and it is easy to see why as she arrives at the top of her game chasing a hat-trick and still looks well handicapped with further improvement to come especially over this trip.

World Of Fortunes won well last time out but the market leader downed tools. Love Of Neymore might pose more of a threat.

I thought ROGUE DIPLOMAT was unlucky not to land the Lincoln on reappearance. He was finishing strongly and that would have been five wins in a row. He has more in the locker and should run another mammoth race here.

Back In Black is still unexposed and the market can’t get enough of him so he could be dangerous. Shout and Stem complete the shortlist.

Plenty in with chances in the Scottish Grand National this year but KIM ROQUE looks to have a major chance at the top of the betting. He was given too much to do in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival and with this marathon test likely ideal he is the one to beat.

Montregard should run well as long as the ground hasn’t got too deep. King Of Answers also has the form to be a big player here.
