Celtic vs Rangers Preview
One of the biggest Old Firm derbies in a long time with Celtic needing a win to go 1 point behind top of the table Hearts and keep the title race going to the final couple of games. Rangers need to win to have any chance at all of winning the league and to put a massive dent in Celtic’s chance of winning. That said I am going to leave the result alone and go with goals, cards and scorers in my Bet Builder which has a 50% boost with Boylesports.

This is where the bet builder is built. Rangers have scored 69 league goals this season, more than any side in the division including Celtic on 64. The previous league meeting at Ibrox finished 2-2, and both teams have scored in three of the last five Old Firms. Only Rangers have a higher second-half goals-per-game average in home matches than Celtic (1.89 to 1.76). With Celtic chasing a result they cannot afford to draw, sitting deeper isn’t an option, and Carter-Vickers missing from the back line against the league’s top-scoring attack tilts both Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score firmly in the bet’s favour. The Old Firm derby doesn’t have as many cards as it used to but there will still be plenty. My best bet for a card is Raskin to be booked as he has 4 cards in 6 Rangers away games and was booked in 2 of 4 games vs Celtic this season.Scorers
Youssef Chermiti had to be the pick here. Top scorer for a Rangers side that has scored more league goals than anyone else in Scotland, and the obvious focal point of Röhl’s attack. Celtic missing Carter-Vickers is the single biggest defensive absentee in the fixture and Chermiti is exactly the type of physical centre-forward who exploits a reshuffled centre-back pairing. He has scored 4 in his last 3 games vs Celtic and looks a great addition to my bet. Boylesports has a 50% boost on this game so I have taken advantage of that.
