Chester 1.35
Despite going off a double-figure price BOLO NEIGHS came home strongly to win at Ascot last month. If he is in the same form here he should take a lot of beating under Edward Greatrex with Ralph Beckett in really good form at present.
Station X arrives in form too but might not have too much in hand off his mark. Miraculous could be a bigger danger.
York 1.50
This looks more open than the betting suggests so CHILLINGHAM might be worth chancing at a price. He is back down the weights and was never put in the race at this track last month. Down another 4lb he could have a say in the outcome here.
Secret Force is the gamble of the race and looks set to go off favourite. He is still relatively unexposed so definitely feared.
Chester 2.10
The money didn’t come initially for JEDDAAL but it is pouring in now and he looks the obvious one to me. He impressed winning on return at Catterick and then was a very good third at Haydock. He has more to come and still looks fairly treated.
Masked Warrior was impressive at Kempton and while this is a different test he could still run well and be the danger.
York 2.25
The way EXTREMELY ZAIN won on debut was mightily impressive and then I thought he did well to make a winning return at Newbury as he pulled quite hard early on. He has scope to progress again and is very much one to keep on side.
Recency Bias was a good second to Realign at Carlisle and that has been boosted so could be the danger at a big enough price.
Sandown 2.42
I do fear the top pair in the betting with Words Of Truth probably the one to beat but POATAN appeals as being overpriced and could get involved. He has a good attitude and impressed at Windsor before a good third at Donny. Don’t underestimate!
Of the rest Argentine Tango is certainly capable on her best and is another one expected to get competitive at the business end.

York 3.00
I thought EPIC POET ran well when third behind Rahiebb at this track on penultimate start. I know he wasn’t at his best at Sandown behind Dubai Future but he wasn’t beaten far and does appeal at the prices in this.
Al Qareem beat Mount Atlas on reappearance and is better than he showed at Chester latest so he could be the main threat.
Sandown 3.17
I’d have RAAMMEE clear favourite for this. I just thought he needed the run on reappearance over C&D last month. He was progressive as a 3yo winning both starts and looks to have tons more to come now. Worth keeping on side against this field.
High Degree bumped into Hand Of God at Newbury last month and if building on that could emerge as the danger here.
York 3.35
Momentum is gathering surrounding THUNDER CALL and I’m glad I’m on the gamble. He looked a different horse bolting up at Kempton last month and is improving fast. This test will suit and now handicapping he could take another sizeable step forward.
Red Spells Danger is likeable and is thriving so looks the danger but First Legion is another one who could run well too.
York 3.35

I’m still confident on WEZZEER here despite the drift. This colt by Sioux Nation impressed winning at Southwell and then just bumped into another progressive rival at Carlisle. He has more to come over 7f and I make him the one to beat despite the market disagreeing.
Sticktoyourguns won on debut and then ran well at Newbury and with more to come is the danger but does lack a recent run.
