Ascot 1.35
I wouldn’t judge FANDOM too harshly on that run at Glorious Goodwood. He is a lot better than that and this track suits him well so back at this venue he looks decent each way value to go close under Suraj Narredu.
All Ways Glamorous is fast and is thriving arriving on a hat-trick so looks the danger. Bolo Neighs is also feared at this track.
Newmarket 1.55
Godolphin won this last year with a nice type and GRACEFUL SONG is expected to prove hard to beat. She bolted up on debut and is only going to improve from that initial experience. She is Group 1 entered so they clearly think a lot of this filly.
Nuit D’eclair looked good winning on debut and then ran well here last month so definitely looks the biggest danger.
Ascot 2.10
All the money is coming for SHRIMP SHADY and it is easy to see why with Ryan Moore in the saddle. He continues to get better as a stayer and even off a career-high mark here should still be the one to beat as he impressed at Newbury.
Dancing In Paris is likeable and will keep rolling so could come out the pack and be the danger. At a monster price Spirit Mixer could run well.
Ascot 2.10
Main danger Dancing In Paris but also look out for Spirit Mixer at a huge price
Haydock 2.25
This looks a great chance for the progressive SALLAAL to bag some Group glory. He was a massive eye-catcher on return given too much to do and then won impressively at Epsom before following up at Sandown. We still haven’t reached his ceiling so keep firmly on side.
Danger Bay is out now so that leaves Nahraan as the danger. He needs to bounce back but is still unexposed and should make a race of it.
Ascot 2.45
I know INSANITY has been a big drifter this morning but I can still see him running well for Alan King. He was out of form behind Opportunity at Royal Ascot but had excuses. His run at Pontefract before that was solid and if he bounces back he is a definite player.
Night Breeze seems the gamble of the race and is respected. Asgard’s Captain is another one I can see running well under Ryan Moore.
Haydock 3.00
Fallen Angel looks really short here. I know it is a much easier level for her but she finished last at York and this fast ground isn’t going to suit. I prefer ALOBAYYAH who looks good value against. She is unexposed and arrives off the back of a promising win at Royal Ascot.
Of the rest Calendar Girl won three from four as a 2yo so can’t be discounted. This is a big enough ask off a layoff though.
Ascot 3.20
I’m keen to keep THUNDER CALL firmly on side here. He was denied the hat-trick at Newmarket but the fast track just caught him out. This stiffer test is ideal and he has more to come off his current mark and should get back to winning ways.
Red Spells Danger ties in closely with the favourite and looks the most obvious threat to him again. May Angel is also noted.
Ascot 3.55
This looks a straight shootout and HOSEKI is worth keeping on side as she bids to land the four-timer. She is likeable and progressive and still has more to come despite another rise. The yard won it last year and Saffie Osborne is up so all positives.
Archers Bay is the main danger under Ryan Moore. He got no luck at Newmarket and will be better suited by this track and should run well.
Ascot 4.30
I know CERULEAN BAY is yet to win this season but he has run some big races in defeat and he again appeals here at an each way price. He has drifted somewhat so if he gets any bigger I’ll be backing in the place markets too. He will be finishing fast.
Ozat is finally getting some help from the handicapper and can emerge as a threat. Two Tribes is also feared if breaking better.
