Newbury 1.25
With Mount Atlas out now this could be a great chance for TABLETALK to get back in the winners enclosure. He went down all guns blazing to the former at York last month and another run like that could see him hard to beat in this.
Dubai Honour is obviously the class-angle and if he does bring his best he could be tough to crack. Gamrai would also have a squeak.
Newbury 1.55
I’m expecting KINSWOMAN to bounce back and run a massive race here. She should love dropping back to 5f and ridden forward could take a lot of pegging back. This is a drop in grade and she gives the impression there is more to come yet.
Rhythm N Hooves is very solid on his best form and looks the danger. Both Hypnotised and Wheels Of Fire could run well too.
Newbury 1.55
Main danger Rhythm N Hooves but look out for Hypnotised at a bigger price
Newmarket 2.10
I know STRIKE has been on the drift but he still looks to have a great chance in this. He showed a good attitude to prevail by a short head at Newbury and if in that sort of form again would have definite claims off a competitive mark.
A lot of dangers but I am surprised to see Havana Blue so short as he finds it hard to win. Archduke Ferdinand I’d probably fear most.
Newbury 2.35
It is definitely interesting that Clive Cox has upped ADDISON GREY to 7f here. If the trip suits and he sees it out strongly he could be the one to side with. He is a lot better than he showed at York and I can see him bouncing back and running well here.
Great Acclaim should give his running and would be a danger to all. Scoville needs to settle but is clearly another one with potential.
Ripon 2.55
I didn’t think WOODSTOCK did anything wrong when a close-up fourth at Thirsk last time. The winner Asuka looks progressive and I think the form will work out in time. He has been hinting his turn is near for a while and at a nice price can go well again.
Magic Boy has been the one for money and it is easy to see why. He wasn’t disgraced last time and won before that so bang in form.
Newbury 3.10
The way SYMBOL OF HONOUR won the Hackwood last month was impressive and if he handles this step back up to 7f he definitely looks the one they all have to beat. He has some strong form to his name and is clearly a talented sprinter.
Coppull would be a danger if getting the trip and Extremely Zain likely still has more to come and should get involved as well.
Ripon 3.25
Lord Roxby is really solid and impressed last time so could be hard to beat but there isn’t much value in his price and a chance is taken on KHAFIZ at around 14/1 in the betting. He remains lightly raced and has been running well since joining this yard so could go close.
Of the rest Fast Track Harry bumped into Amazing Journey at Ascot and that form is decent so if building on that again is the danger.
Newbury 3.42
Not a lot of form to go on so the debutant MOSHEER could be worth chancing. He holds a lot of fancy entries and cost 185,000 guineas as a colt. He should be forward enough to make an impact first time out and the market has him as the one to beat.
Mister Whippy has experience on side and is attracting support so looks the danger. Gambling Man and San Jose are also respected.
