The Premier League returns from the international break on Saturday, and the Spreadex Acca Boost makes this a six-fold worth getting behind. Spreadex price it at 4.66/1 and the 20% boost for six legs takes it to 5.6/1, with the extra paid in cash.

I’ve covered every Saturday game with one match bet, two double chances and three goals markets. Every leg is 1/10 or bigger, so the boost applies to the whole acca.

Here’s my reasoning for each leg, in kick-off order, with the latest team news.

Arsenal v Leeds tips

Saturday 12:30 · Emirates Stadium
Arsenal to win2/5

Arsenal went into the international break off the back of a 3-0 defeat at Brighton, their first loss of the season, but the rest of their start has been close to perfect. They beat Coventry 3-0, won 1-0 at Villa, beat Chelsea 2-1 at the Emirates and won 2-0 at Sunderland. That is four wins from five, with eight goals scored and four conceded.

Leeds deserve credit. They are unbeaten with two wins and three draws and have conceded only three goals. The problem is at the other end. Outside the 4-1 win over Newcastle they have scored three goals in four games, and they have scored just once in each away game. Arsenal at home after the break is the safest leg on the card for me.

  • Arsenal W4 of 5
  • 2 from 2 home wins
  • Leeds 1 goal per away game
Team news: Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapié are all back in training for Arsenal. William Saliba is still out until November and Christos Tzolis picked up an injury with Greece. No new injury concerns have been reported for Leeds.

Aston Villa v Brentford tips

Saturday 15:00 · Villa Park
Brentford or draw4/9

This is the leg I expect people to question, because Villa are at home. I don’t think the numbers back them. Villa have one win from five, and it came at Spurs. At Villa Park they lost 1-0 to Arsenal and 2-1 to Forest, and they have scored four goals all season, three of them in that one game at Tottenham. They also lost 4-0 at Brighton on the opening weekend.

Brentford are unbeaten with two wins and three draws. Both away trips, to Leeds and Bournemouth, finished level, and they hammered Chelsea 3-0 in their last game. With the draw covered, I’m happy taking Villa on.

  • Brentford unbeaten
  • Villa lost 2 of 2 at home
  • Villa 4 goals in 5
Team news: Villa are without Ian Maatsen (ankle). Brentford are missing Nathan Collins (calf), while Mikkel Damsgaard is a doubt.

Chelsea v Bournemouth tips

Saturday 15:00 · Stamford Bridge
Both teams to score1/2

Chelsea games have been chaotic. They won 3-2 at Fulham and 4-3 against Brighton, drew 2-2 with Hull, lost 2-1 at Arsenal and were beaten 3-0 at Brentford. They have conceded in all five, 11 goals in total, and both teams have scored in four of them.

Bournemouth haven’t won yet, but they keep scoring. They found the net against Man City, Everton, Newcastle and Brentford, and the only blank was the 1-0 home defeat to Liverpool. I would rather back goals at both ends than pick a winner here.

  • BTTS 4 of 5 Chelsea
  • BTTS 4 of 5 Bournemouth
  • Chelsea 11 conceded
Team news: Reece James and João Pedro are doubts for Chelsea, while Moisés Caicedo should shake off a knock from the international break. Bournemouth are without Justin Kluivert.

Ipswich v Fulham tips

Saturday 15:00 · Portman Road
Over 1.5 goals2/9

Ipswich games have averaged 3.6 goals. They beat Sunderland 2-1, won 3-2 at Crystal Palace, lost 5-2 at Man Utd and lost 2-0 at home to Liverpool. The only game under the line was a 1-0 defeat at Everton, and they are yet to keep a clean sheet.

Fulham are still looking for a first win and have been tighter lately, with a 0-0 at Liverpool and a 1-1 with United. But they lost 3-2 to both Chelsea and Palace at Craven Cottage, and three of their five games have had two goals or more. Over 1.5 has landed in seven of these two sides’ ten games.

  • Ipswich games 3.6 avg
  • Ipswich 0 clean sheets
  • Landed 7 of 10
Team news: Ipswich are without the suspended Abdul Fatawu. Fulham have no fresh injury or suspension worries.

Sunderland v Brighton tips

Saturday 15:00 · Stadium of Light
Over 1.5 goals1/4

Brighton have the most dangerous attack in the league right now. They have scored 16 goals in five games, beating Villa 4-0, Coventry 5-0 and Arsenal 3-0, and they still scored three in the 4-3 defeat at Chelsea. Only the 1-1 with Leeds stayed tight.

Sunderland have conceded ten, including five at Man City in their last game, and their only clean sheet came in the 1-0 win over Fulham. Over 1.5 goals has landed in nine of these two sides’ ten games combined. Brighton could get there on their own.

  • Landed 9 of 10
  • Brighton 16 scored
  • Sunderland 10 conceded
Team news: Sunderland are without Habib Diarra and Dan Ballard, both with hamstring injuries. Brighton are missing Mats Wieffer and Stefanos Tzimas, while Jack Hinshelwood is a doubt. Lewis Dunk is fit.

Man Utd v Tottenham tips

Saturday 17:30 · Old Trafford
Man Utd or draw2/9

Spurs are bottom and still waiting for their first league win. They drew 0-0 with Forest and Everton and lost to Brentford, Newcastle and Villa. Worse for them, they have scored two goals in five games, both in the 3-2 home defeat to Villa, and haven’t scored away from home.

United have one win from five, but it was a 5-2 thrashing of Ipswich at Old Trafford, and they drew at Everton and Fulham. I wouldn’t back them to win with confidence, so double chance gives me the draw as cover. Spurs have given me no reason to think they can win here.

  • Spurs W0 of 5
  • Spurs 2 goals in 5
  • 0 away goals
Team news: United are assessing Patrick Dorgu (hamstring) and Noussair Mazraoui, and Benjamin Sesko is a doubt with a shin problem. Bruno Fernandes should be fit. Spurs are still without Pedro Porro (hamstring).

My verdict

Arsenal at home and Spurs’ lack of goals are the two legs I’m most confident in. Brentford double chance carries the most price, and the three goals legs all have strong numbers behind them. At 5.6/1 with the boost, this is the acca I’m backing on Saturday.
