Notebook Selection

WE HAVE TWO CONFIDENT SELECTIONS FROM OUR NOTEBOOK ON THURSDAY!

Lingfield 1.15 Irish Acclaim (15/8)

Promising colt who improved again to finish second to a useful horse at Chelmsford last time; opening mark of 78 looks workable on handicap debut and looks to have a good chance of getting off the mark.

No joy for the Notebook yesterday sadly but we’ll be looking to bounce back today and IRISH ACCLAIM makes plenty of appeal now tackling handicaps for Clive Cox. He has shown good form over this trip and is capable of better yet. An opening mark of 78 surely underestimates his ability? Gold Brocade has experience on side and looks the one most likely to capitalise if the selection fails to fire.

Notebook Selection

Ayr 2.40 Portrush Ted (11/4)

Beat some good horses when winning a bumper at Aintree; winning start over hurdles at Perth; absence a slight concern as not seen for 519 days but still has potential and remains unexposed over obstacles; could be better than these.

As long as he is fit and ready to do himself justice PORTRUSH TED looks a good bet to come out on top here. The absence is slightly concerning but he looked a horse on the up before that and still has potential going forward. Warren Greatrex has found a good opening to bring him back so fingers crossed he gets the job done. Eternally Yours is a consistent sort and she should chase the selection home.

Notebook 2

Ayr 2.40 Portrush Ted (11/4)

Notebook Double

Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
