NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP HAS WON TWICE IN THE LAST THREE DAYS AND WE HEAD TO LUDLOW FOR OUR BEST BET ON WEDNESDAY!
Ludlow 2.45 Kalooki (9/4)
Caught the eye when fourth at Warwick on debut over hurdles; combination of needing the run and making mistakes cost him but crossed the line with more to give and is likely to improve plenty for that; looks a leading player with the yard firing.
Philip Hobbs continues in great form and he has another big chance of a winner here with KALOOKI. This horse looked in need of the experience when fourth on hurdling debut at Warwick but hit the line with more running to give and strikes me as an improver. The market is certainly in agreement with the 9/4 under pressure as we speak. Come On Teddy has experience on side and looks the main threat.
NB – Second best selection of the day
Kempton 5.45 Barking Mad (11/4)
Given a lot to do on handicap debut running on well in the closing stages to finish a never nearer fourth; improved on that to finish second at Wolverhampton last time, just bumping into one; should come on again and looks a major player here.
Qaseeda is probably favourite by default here given she is trained by William Haggas and she goes handicapping for the first time. At the prices I’d be keen to take her on though and BARKING MAD looks a good bet to come out on top. I’d actually make him favourite in my book as a reproduction of that latest second would see him go very close here. The harder they go the better it will suit as he often comes late.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Ludlow and Kempton on Wednesday. The NAP has been in great form lately!
