NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP LANDED YESTERDAY SO WE’LL BE LOOKING FOR BACK-TO-BACK WINNERS TO START THE WEEK!
Wolverhampton 5.50 Raymond Tusk (11/10)
Talented sort who dug deep to repel Funny Kid at Newcastle last month, appreciating the return to easier company; well on top at the finish and they meet on the same terms here so should confirm that form; the one to beat.
It was good to get the NAP back to winning ways yesterday and we’ll be hoping for another winner to start the week in the shape of RAYMOND TUSK. He is relatively lightly raced for his age and had no bother dealing with Funny Kid at Newcastle last month following his excursions over in Australia. He drifted before the off so may even improve for that effort. They meet on the same terms here so the selection is a confident fancy to come out on top again. Rainbow Dreamer won well at Kempton last time but needs more.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST HAS BEEN IN GREAT RECENTLY AND WE HAVE ANOTHER CONFIDENT SELECTION AT SOUTHWELL TODAY!
Southwell 1.25 Navajo Dawn (6/4)
Dawn Approach filly who cashed in off a reduced mark to win readily over C&D 10 days ago; up just 4lb so foolish to rule out another big run with this looking a good opportunity to make it back-to-back wins; should be finishing strongest.
Focus turns to the fibresand for Monday’s NB and NAVAJO DAWN looks to have strong claims of following up here for Robyn Brisland. She showed a good attitude running on well to get there and win comfortably last time and with a 4lb penalty looks the most likely winner. I think that was good form beating Mews House and Alex Gracie in the context of this race. A Go Go was only sixth last time so has a bit to prove. Comeatchoo is probably the one I fear most given he’s been dropped 5lb and wasn’t beaten far latest.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Wolverhampton and Southwell on Monday.
