Good looking chestnut colt who confirmed debut promise to open his account at Lingfield 34 days ago, running on well close home from a previous winner; open to improvement and should be hard to beat given his sire has an excellent record on this surface.
I’m expecting HARRISON POINT to be hard to beat here for Archie Watson and Hollie Doyle. He is a straightforward type who showed a good attitude to win at Lingfield last time. He is open to improvement and with his sire having done so well on this surface he promises to be suited by this stiffer test tackling fibresand for the first time. Snowball Jackson showed promise when third at Kempton on debut and is likely to emerge as the biggest danger.

Stepped forward from two encouraging efforts back with his former trainer to win well at Newcastle before following up at the same venue last time, driven out; up 9lb but deservedly so and should have every chance of landing the hat-trick.
The handicapper has had his say raising STARPLEX 9lb for that latest victory at Newcastle but he is clearly a horse thriving right now and this looks another good bit of placement as the hat-trick beckons. Calliope should give him a good toe into it and I’m finding it hard to oppose even with the weight rise. Wild Sam has won two of his last three but doesn’t always jump well and the drop back in trip looks a negative. Flaming Glory is a danger having run better when third at Newcastle last month.
