Useful hurdler who finished third in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham before chasing home Minella Indo again at Punchestown; showed plenty of promise on debut over fences when second to Easy Game and remains a top chasing prospect going forward.
We head to Ireland as we look to land our forth winning NAP in a row and ALLAHO makes plenty of appeal for Mullins and Townend. He did well over hurdles but has always promised to be a better chaser and made a bright start when second on debut in this discipline chasing home stablemate Easy Game at Leopardstown. With usual improvement he should be extremely hard to beat and I was actually pleasantly surprised to see the even money on offer. He’s likely to be very popular. Early Doors ran well at Punchestown last time and is also entitled to improve but may just be bumping into one here.

Well regarded sort who had proved costly to follow over fences prior to destroying the opposition at Doncaster last time; travelling and jumping well before quickly settling it; 8lb rise won’t bother him if in the same mood here.
Rebecca Curtis had always said FINANCIAL OUTCOME would make a better chaser so it was disappointing to see him struggle on his first three starts. Thankfully it all seemed to click at Doncaster last time and even with the 8lb rise he looks a very confident selection to follow up. It was notable how well he jumped the last day and if he does that again he’ll get his rivals off the bridle. He is a big scopey sort who is open to improvement so one I want to keep firmly on the right side of for now at least. Fortescue should chase the selection home as the betting suggests.
