NAP – Best selection of the day

THE NAP HAS WON 6 TIMES IN THE LAST 8 DAYS AND IS IN TOP FORM RIGHT NOW!

Meydan 3.40 Dee Ex Bee (6/4)

Comfortably clear on the ratings and should win this on first start for new yard if at best on UAE debut; galloping track should suit his style and likely he’ll have too much class for his rivals at the business end.

A smart stayer for Mark Johnson DEE EX BEE should prove a tough nut to crack on debut for Salem bin Ghadayer. Obviously we have seen him contesting in all the top races over the summer, finishing second to Stradivarius three times, but freshened up since and dropping back in trip he will be hard to beat if running to his best. He is clear on the ratings and looks the most likely winner under Mickael Barzalona. Dubhe won over two miles here last term and still has potential but probably just lacks the class of the potential but is still a danger. Mekong and Universal Order are both promising too so it’s a race with strength in depth but the NAP will have all angles covered if putting his best foot forward.

NB – Second best selection of the day

THE NEXT BEST RUNS AT FFOS LAS ON THURSDAY AND IS A CONFIDENT TIP TO LAND THE HAT-TRICK!

Ffos Las 1.35 Main Fact (15/8)

Progressive individual who ran a cracker back from a 600-day absence when third at Exeter; built on that to justify favouritism at Warwick, doing it easily; followed up despite making mistakes at Uttoxeter and leading player escaping a penalty.

Given it was a conditional jockeys’ handicap hurdle that MAIN FACT won last time he escapes a penalty and as a result should have a big chance of landing a hat-trick of wins. Useful 7lb claimer Fergus Gillard is back in the saddle (rode him when a good third on reappearance) and everything points towards a big run. Ring The Moon shaped well on both starts in handicaps recently and is definitely a danger. Mick Manhattan won his bumper here but will need more than what he showed when third at Chepstow to figure. The Wire Flyer might be a bit of value to hit the frame making his handicap debut for John Flint. I’ll be surprised if anything else gets involved as it’s a race that very much revolves around the favourite. If he turns up in the same form, he wins!
