NAP – Best selection of the day
WE HEAD TO LUDLOW FOR OUR BEST BET OF THE DAY AS WE LOOK TO GET THE NAP BACK FIRING!
Ludlow 1.45 Langer Dan (10/11)
Scopey sort who won his first two in good style before running well up in grade when second at Cheltenham in December; sets the standard on that form and should prove hard to beat with further improvement on the cards; one to keep on side.
We head to Ludlow for Wednesday’s NAP and LANGER DAN looks a good bet to come out on top. He has looked a promising horse in three runs to date and with further progress a near certainty he should have too much for Garry Clermont. The latter had looked pretty exciting himself before running poorly when third last time. He went from travelling best to being readily held. Archie Brown has joined Paul Nicholls after finishing third in a bumper but looks to be bumping into one here. He should do better going forward with the experience under his belt.
NB – Second best selection of the day
WE HEAD TO WOLVERHAMPTON FOR THE NEXT BEST BET ON WEDNESDAY!
Wolverhampton 5.05 Foresee (7/4)
Won four of his last five now and went clear easily to win by 5 lengths at Newcastle last time; 11lb higher now but foolish to rule out another big run given the form he’s in; should get a good toe into it before hopefully pouncing late.
An 11lb rise makes life tougher for FORESEE but he is clearly thriving right now and should have every chance of going in again under Ben Curtis. At 7/4 I’m willing to keep him onside. Willkommen is probably the one I fear most having been denied just a short head over C&D last time. The mare Power Home won well last time and is another to consider but I’ll be disappointed if the favourite can’t notch up another win to his already impressive recent record. Ben Curtis takes over from Elisha Whittington in the saddle which is another notable plus.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Ludlow and Wolverhampton on Wednesday.
