NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP RUNS AT DONCASTER ON THURSDAY AS WE LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK!
Doncaster 3.30 Buzz (5/4)
Useful type on the Flat and justified strong support to make a winning hurdling debut at Taunton last month, showing a good attitude to prevail; beat a subsequent winner so the form stacks up; open to improvement and should prove hard to beat.
He may only have won a neck on debut over hurdles but BUZZ had a bit more in hand than the winning distance suggested and with the second Galahad Quest having struck in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham since the form has a strong appeal to it. With further improvement on the cards he should prove hard to beat. Glory And Fortune is undoubtedly talented but has failed to fire albeit in strong contests the last twice. He was well backed on both occasions but ultimately well held. He is a danger but I expect the selection to ultimately prove too strong.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST RUNS AT MEYDAN ON THURSDAY AS WE LOOK TO FIRE IN A WINNER!
Meydan 4.50 Benbatl (15/8)
Classy operator who tackles dirt for the first time but is expected to prove too strong for Gronkowski; warmed up for this with a win here on turf last month and should take this en route to having a crack at the big one.
We head to Dubai for the NB on Thursday and BENBATL is taken to pass this test with flying colours! He is the class act in the field and if he acts on dirt (sire suggests he will) I think he’ll have too much for Gronkowski, who has been backed in the market. The pair look to have it between them though Kimbear isn’t entirely ruled out as the step up in trip might help him, albeit he is unproven. Chiefdom improved to win four of his five starts over a mile this term but has a lot more on his plate now. This should prove informative so definitely a race not to miss.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Doncaster and Meydan on Thursday.
