NAP – Best selection of the day
WE’VE LANDED 2 WINNING NAP’S FROM OUR LAST 3 SO HEAD INTO A NEW WEEK IN GOOD FORM!
Plumpton 2.15 Calva D’Auge (11/10)
Won impressively over C&D on debut for this yard in November; bumped into Thebannerkingrebel and Fiddlerontheroof on next two starts and then back to winning ways making all at Wincanton latest; more to come and the one to beat.
I know CALVA D’AUGE has a double penalty to contend with here so it won’t be easy but for me he is still the most likely winner and with Paul Nicholls running at a 30% strike rate in the past fortnight you’d be foolish to oppose. He has C&D form in the book too which is another positive and even his runs in defeat were promising enough. Fraser Island is the obvious danger but he was turned over at Kempton and has a bit to prove coming into this. It looks between the pair.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST RUNS AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON MONDAY AS WE LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK!
Wolverhampton 7.40 Felix (6/4)
Good looking chestnut who is on the upgrade judging by his impressive win over Singing Sheriff at Lingfield last month; showed a smart turn of foot to pick them up from off the pace and with this likely to be run to suit he is a good bet for the four-timer.
It was hard not to be impressed with the way FELIX shot into the lead late on at Lingfield last month. He made up a lot of ground and took dead aim before motoring home to win cosily. A 5lb rise doesn’t look enough to anchor him and the four-timer surely beckons? This is a good race though and I do respect the chances of Kaser, who was an impressive winner himself last time. I think the pair are likely to battle this out but obviously Rangali Island can’t be completely discounted either.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Plumpton and Wolverhampton on Monday.
