Defied big odds when going down narrowly on debut over C&D last month; obvious chance of going one better with usual improvement from initial run to next; already sets the standard so a confident bet to come out on top now.
It will be disappointing if BYTHEBAY can’t open his account here following a very promising effort when runner-up over C&D last month. He looks a nice horse so with normal improvement has to go close. Alborkan has more experience than the selection but was unable to sustain his challenge here 25 days ago so will need to find more. Trigger Happy could go well on debut for his new trainer having shaped with plenty of encouragement on debut last year.

Lingfield 3.30 In Demand (5/4)
Shaped as though his turn might be near when third to a big improver in Estrela Star at Kempton earlier this month; that form has worked out well already and he’s been dropped a 1lb so looks an obvious contender to finally open his account.
Back down in trip IN DEMAND is looking too well handicapper to ignore. That was a very good run last time behind the right two horses so if he can build off that dropped another 1lb he will be bang there. They are certainly getting behind him in the market so he could go off very short come post time. Harbour Quay is the clear danger on the figures, albeit he is far from straightforward. I think the pair will battle it out but Wildomar is another not to completely discount.
