Promising mare who I’ve had on my radar for a while now; won her bumper at Towcester but lightly raced since; shaped with plenty of encouragement over hurdles but likely to come into her own now sent chasing on handicap bow.
A mark of 112 should be well within reach for DESTINEE ROYALE. She has always looked a chaser and is expected to come into her own now. She has clearly had a few issues along the way given the time she has spent off the track but I’m guessing she has just been a bit backward and probably needed time to fill into her frame. She should be fit after a couple of spins over hurdles and it won’t surprise me if she is well backed in the market. Mick Manhattan is probably the one I fear most as he’s another going chasing for the first time.

Southwell 2.05 Final Legacy (11/4)
Useful filly who has taken well to this surface; showed a good attitude finding for pressure to score over C&D earlier this month; went down all guns blazing beaten a nose last time and should go close again here; most likely winner.
Gorgeous General won nicely last time but prior to that he was beaten 2 lengths by FINAL LEGACY and I fancy that form to be upheld here. The latter is a useful filly at this level and she has a good attitude to boot which should see her home in front again. Arzaak also comes into calculations with his mark tumbling. He is on a fourteen-run losing spell though so is hard to recommend while still represents a threat. Red Invader is hard to predict but is capable when on a going day.
