THE NOTEBOOK HAS BEEN IN GREAT FORM WITH 18 WINNERS IN THE LAST 19 DAYS!
Lingfield 2.35 Spirit Warning (2/1)
Promising individual who caught the eye on return finishing down the field but beaten just a length and a half; improved to go down narrowly over C&D again last time; coming to the boil now and could prove the answer.
This might not take a great deal of winning and SPRIIT WARNING looks up to the task. He won here as a 3yo and looks the most solid option after two promising efforts, most notably when going down just half a length last week. I think he has Double Kodiac to beat. That rival failed to justify market support when only sixth at Doncaster when last seen in August and will be a danger if ready to go back from 6 months off. Smile A Mile is another to note if he can step up again.

Kelso 5.07 Late Romantic (2/1)
Career best back from 231 days off the track and a wind op winning at Wetherby in November; failed to match that next two starts but back to form when second to The Hollow Ginge at Leicester last month and first-time cheekpieces on now.
Monbeg River and Ask The Weatherman might just take each other on here and so LATE ROMANTIC could be the one to pick up the pieces if they do go hard up top. He is a useful yardstick and ran much better last time following two disappointing efforts. His Wetherby win in November showed he still has love for the game and I think this looks a good opportunity for him to get back to winning ways. Ask The Weatherman probably is the main threat but he isn’t one for maximum faith but is a big danger on a going day.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
