NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP LANDED YESTERDAY AND WE’LL BE HOPING FOR ANOTHER WINNER TO HEAD INTO CHELTENHAM ON A HIGH!
Taunton 4.05 Nineohtwooneoh (1/1)
Promising type who got off the mark in good style at Musselburgh last time, travelling well before staying on strongly to win by over four lengths; handicapper had his say but should be plenty more to come given how lightly raced he is.
Capuccimix won easily yesterday to get the NAP back on track and we head to Taunton on Monday as we look to land another best bet. NINEOHTWOONEOH took it up on the bit 3 out before staying on strongly to win readily at Musselburgh last tine. With further improvement a near certainty he should take a lot of beating here despite the 10lb rise. Chinwag and Broke Away should battle it out for second spot. At a bigger price Keel Over could go well back from a lengthy absence.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST WON FOUR TIMES LAST WEEK AND RUNS AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON MONDAY NIGHT!
Wolverhampton 6.40 Glorious Caesar (9/4)
Hinted at ability for a long time and had shaped well in defeat so no surprise to see him open his account at Lingfield last time, holding on narrowly; did well to win given he was slowly away too; up 4lb but can improve and looks sure to go close.
We stick with last time out winner GLORIOUS CAESAR here for the NB. He wasn’t winning out of turn at Lingfield last time and with further improvement on the cards, especially over this trip, he should be up to defying a 4lb rise in the weights. There looks to be a fair bit of pace on which should suit him as he’ll look to swoop late. Visibility is also usually held up and looks a danger. At a bigger price I wouldn’t rule out Breguet Boy running better than his odds suggest although he ran poorly here when last seen.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Taunton and Wolverhampton on Monday.
