Expensive Irish point winner who was off the mark at the second time of asking over hurdles here in November following a wind op; very good second on handicap debut at Doncaster and looks the one to beat with further improvement on the cards.
On The Slopes got the NAP back to winning ways yesterday and we’ll be looking to follow up this afternoon. We head to Market Rasen and Olly Murphy saddles the promising DUNDRUM WOOD who looks to have plenty in favour. A mark of 120 surely underestimates his ability? This track will play to his strengths too and he looks to have been found a good opportunity to return to winning ways. Who’s The Boss is a danger on form but Lygon Rock is probably the one I fear most as he has had excuses the last twice and has potential to bounce back.

Best of these over hurdles and while this season’s efforts have been disappointing he retains potential in this sphere and could be a cut above these if taking to this discipline at the second time of asking; sure to go close.
We head to Ireland for today’s NB and THERMISTOCLES could prove hard to beat here for Joseph O’Brien. He fell on his only previous start over fences so has a bit to prove but he was the best of these over hurdles so if he does take to chasing he looks the most likely winner. This is a very winnable race so it will be disappointing if he doesn’t get involved. Chief Of Police was tenderly handled at Leopardstown and should build on that so is likely to emerge as the biggest danger to the selection. Ellipsism is another to note as he drops in trip for his chase debut.
