Best bets at Rockhampton, Kembla Grange, Bendigo and Ballina on Tuesday morning

We’ve had a good look at the Australian racing overnight with the focus on Kembla Grange and Ballina. We’ve also covered Rockhampton and Bendigo.

On top of our best bets we have the race-by-race bets list below the main bets if you want to know what we fancy on the rest of the cards (just scroll right down to the bottom)

NAP – Best selection of the evening

MINOLA LANDED THE NAP AT 9/2 THIS MORNING! WE HEAD TO BALLINA ON TUESDAY!

Race 4 Ballina 6.05 Hanna From Havana (15/8)

Gained a deserved breakthrough when shedding her maiden-tag in impressive style at Grafton a week ago; hit the line strong so this step up in trip looks ideal coupled with soft ground again here she should prove hard to beat.

I’m not sure why the NAP drifted so much this morning but she did and she got the job done so it was a nice payout for our followers. We head to Ballina tomorrow for our best bet and HANNA FROM HAVANA catches the eye for Allan Kehoe and Matthew Mcguren. This brown filly finally opened her account last week running on strongly to score well and up in trip here under similar conditions looks a good bet to follow up. She won’t mind if it turns into a bit of a battle and I’m happy to row in with her here.

NB – Second best selection of the day

PECUNIARY INTEREST LANDED THE NB AT 7/2 THIS MORNING! WE HEAD TO KEMBLA GRANGE ON TUESDAY!

Race 7 Kembla Grange 7.35 Montserrat (15/8)

Lightly raced improving 3yo who rattled home when narrowly denied over 1200m at Newcastle last month, his second start back from a break; should be hitting peak fitness now and with the promise of more to come up in trip ticks plenty of boxes here.

Pecuniary Interest landed us the NB on Monday morning despite taking a drift and we have another confident selection for you on Tuesday. MONTSERRAT only just missed out last time and with further gains fitness-wise and the extra yardage firmly in his favour he looks sure to run a big race here for James Cummings and Blaike Mcdougall. I can see him getting well backed in the run up to the race so it might be worth taking the price. Alchermes looks the biggest danger to the selection.
