Best bets at Australia in the early hours of Saturday morning
We’ve had a good look at the Australian racing overnight with the focus on Randwick, Caulfield and Port Macquarie. We have also covered Doomben, Emerald, Ascot and Toowoomba.

Race 7 Randwick 6.15 Young Rascal (7/4)
Seemed rejuvenated by the switch Down Under winning the Group 3 Manion Cup in good style on return last month; this has always been the target and given he’s likely to improve plenty physically he could prove tough to beat under Tom Marquand.
I’ll be roaring home YOUNG RASCAL on Saturday morning as Haggas and Marquand look to take out the Group 1 Sydney Cup. He is a progressive young stayer and he looked in good form with himself when winning on his Australian debut last month. With improvement on the cards he will look to justify favouritism here. Mustajeer is plenty talented and won’t make it easy for the favourite but he has to give weight away all round and it looks a tough ask. Raheen House bounce back last time and should also run well.

Race 6 Emerald 5.58 Eschiele (7/4)
Goes really well fresh and backed that up winning on return at Barcaldine last month; looks to have a great chance of following up if in the same form here as this might not take much winning; ticks plenty of boxes.
This looks an obvious chance for ESCHIELE to make it back-to-back wins. He wasn’t winning out of turn on his first start since November last month and has been found a good opportunity to follow up. Our Beatnik form over this trip does read well so he is a danger as is Stylish Luck who has won two of his last three and could still be capable of more. I think they’re all relying on the favourite to falter though and judging by that win last time he will be extremely hard to beat.
