Race 2 Ascot 6.14 Miss Conteki (10/11)
Smart filly who has won two of her three starts; nice win back from two months off over C&D last month, justifying strong support; scope to improve again and looks one to keep firmly on side going forward; should get a good toe into it before striking late.
We head to Ascot in the early hours of Wednesday as we look to get the Aussie NAP back firing and MISS CONTEKI jumps off the page in Race 2. She is improving fast and William Pike is unbeaten on her so she is taken to make it three wins from her first four starts. She is a scopey sort who has room to improve again and if she does she will take care of this bunch. Showzali is also on the upgrade and looks the biggest danger. I’ll be surprised if anything else proves good enough and that includes hat-trick seeking Agent Jay.

Race 4 Sandown 5.10 Mr Stylish (5/2)
Came from last to first despite breaking awkwardly to win impressively on return from four months off the track at Pakenham last time beating useful individual Office Jim; wide gate to contend with here but will be patiently ridden again and look to pounce late.
We head to Sandown for our NB on Wednesday and MR STYLISH looks a good price to go in again for Phillip Stokes and Dwayne Dunn. He looks on the upgrade following that likeable performance last time and with the promise of more to come will be tough to hold out in the closing stages. Blenders Edition is fitter now and rates one of the main threats as does Revlis who has been knocking on the door lately. He has experience on side. It looks between the front three in the market with the selection a confident one.
